first, what brand of EDI do you have? If you have the plate and frame type then leak is a perennial problem for that type of EDi. it is caused by the inherent design problem of that type of EDI. that is the reason why years later, other configurations were developed. another reason is system pressure, if the flow of water is blocked and it cannot escape then the pressure build up will cause the weakest component of the system to leak, in this case the gaskets and the frame.

The very high amount of leakage of water found on the front side and back side both corners signifies that this is due to lower flow rates of Concentrate and/or Product; or shipment defects.
